Job Purpose

Working closely with the Vertical Head and the Networks Development team, Lead - Network Development will be responsible to drive forward our Networks Development initiatives so that we are able to engage with our primary stakeholders proactively and consistently.

Sense India has a growing Advocacy and Network Development team. There is a broad scope to this post within Sense India. It is in line with the strategic plan and policy guidelines of the organisation. The key area will be to ensure growth of Networks through quality interventions based on effective implementation and monitoring. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare Network Development activities budget and operational plan for the financial year
• Coordinate national, regional and state network meetings, its documentation and follow ups

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Manager- Finance, the Officer-Accounts will be responsible for maintaining a robust accounting system as per Sense International India’s policies and procedures. Key tasks

• Prepare vouchers for all transactions undertaken by the organization and process cash as well as bank payments.

Purpose of the Post

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Programme Development

• Support Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) based programme activities.
• Participate as needed on high-priority activities for SRHR program, including but not limited to data analysis and interpretation, health care worker training, program performance reviews, etc.
• Support in the capacity building needs assessment, planning, organising and facilitating training and workshops for partners
• Support in reporting and documentation of programme activities to various audiences including donors
• Support in logistic arrangement during training and workshops
• Work closely on project proposals to be submitted to donor agencies

Capacity Building of Partners

• Facilitate training for various stakeholders i.e. caregivers, special educators and adults with deafblindness/ multiple disabilities in the sexual and reproductive health domain
• Develop learning materials, publications, research papers, articles etc on SRHR targeting different stakeholders of Sense International India.
• Support Head of Programme and other colleagues in organisational assessment and capacity building plans

• Onsite training and support in preparing the reports aligning Sense International India strategies.

Essential requirements

• Ideally a Postgraduate in public health/social sciences/ disability studies with at least 2 years of work experience on issues related to SRHR.

The position requires supporting partner organisations through training and skill building activities and Support to Children and Young Adults with Deafblindness and their Families’. The position also requires executing and building content, documentation, and monitoring quality of services at partner organisations.

• Identifying training needs of partner organisations through appropriate mechanism and regular consultation with partners and stakeholders
• Develop, design and coordinate implementation of comprehensive training package for skill building of various stakeholders, including project partners, families, persons with deafblindness, allied professionals, etc.
• Managing online learning management system (LMS) as per the course and batches

A. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Conducting assessments of children and adults with deafblindness / MD and developing or following a rehabilitation plan according to the respective children and adults with deafblindness / MD with sensory and physical disabilities

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Manager – HR & Operations, the Officer - HR & Administration will be responsible for managing the human resource function and administration of Sense India offices at various locations.

Sense India has an experienced and qualified, HR, Admin & Operations team. The post holder will be an important member of this team and also work closely with other team members, to ensure proper systems, policies and processes are in place.

1. Human Resource Function:

• Provide support for the recruitment and on boarding processes including job postings on social media platforms, downloading resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating follow-up actions.
• Liaise with background verification agencies to ensure timely receipt of reports for all new joiners.
• Coordinate with the IT department to ensure systems and necessary tools are arranged for new employees prior to their joining.

Purpose of the post

Working closely with the Assistant Manager – Individual Engagement, the Team Leader – Telecalling will play a key role in raising funds for Sense India by implementing effective donor acquisition and retention strategies. This will be achieved through telecalling outreach and, where applicable, face-to-face donor engagement.

Sense India has a well-established, experienced telecalling team based in Ahmedabad and Bangalore. The Team Leader will be a vital member of this team, responsible for managing and supporting telecallers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of fundraising activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve agreed-upon individual and team fundraising targets through effective telecalling and face-to-face donor meetings.
• Attend all appointments set by the telecalling team and ensure successful donor closures in the field.
• Coordinate with the Donor Engagement team to ensure prompt and accurate fulfilment of donor requirements, including issuance of receipts, thank-you letters, reports, and newsletters.
• Provide regular training and mentoring to team members, especially bottom performers, to identify challenges and bridge performance gaps.
• Drive the telecalling team to consistently achieve weekly and monthly fundraising goals.
• Build strong team performance through clear goal-setting, performance appraisals, constructive feedback, and coaching.
• Conduct regular call barging (daily, weekly, monthly) and provide signed feedback reports to management.
• Share monthly reports on team shrinkage and attrition and provide weekly updates on target achievement and team performance.

General Description of the Post

There is a broad scope to this post within Sense International India. In line with Sense International India's strategic plans and policy guidelines to work under the leadership of Master Specialist - Programme, in planning, implementing and monitoring agreed objectives / issues with Sense International India partners. The person will participate and contribute to the development of wider institutional strategy.

It is anticipated and hoped that the nature of the post will change as the work continues to develop. Apart from the above roles, the post holder will have an opportunity to increase their skills and develop the job. This is very much a developmental job and the areas of responsibility will increase over a period of time.

Purpose of the post

1. Ensuring proper management and effective utilization of human resources and finances by the partner organisations
2. To undertake monitoring visits to partner organisations and evaluate the reasons of success and failure within projects, taking action to ensure that the overall programme learns from them.
3. To develop an analysis of the context in which Sense International India implements its programme and develop/implement participatory approaches in programme planning, monitoring and evaluation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Project development and management

• Manage relationship with Sense International India project partners through regular visits and undertake project appraisal, monitoring, evaluation and ensure minimum organisational programme management standards.
